In-house automated powder coating line, multi-stage pre-treatment, and full-spectrum surface finishing — all under one roof for precise colour, corrosion protection, and cosmetic quality.
VFM operates a fully automated powder coating plant integrated into our main production facility. Controlling surface finishing in-house allows us to maintain tight colour consistency, meet tight delivery schedules, and avoid outsourcing delays that affect quality and lead time.
Our line handles parts up to 2.5m × 1.2m × 0.8m and processes mixed batch orders without cross-contamination, using dedicated spray booths and automated gun reciprocators for each colour run.
Multi-stage chemical wash: alkaline degreasing, rinse, iron phosphating, and final DI water rinse to ensure perfect adhesion and corrosion resistance.
Automated electrostatic spray guns apply charged powder particles that cling uniformly to grounded metal parts, achieving even coverage on complex geometries.
Parts travel through a controlled 200°C cure oven on the conveyor line. Powder melts, flows, and cross-links into a continuous durable film over 15–20 minutes.
Cooled parts undergo adhesion cross-cut testing, visual inspection for pinholes, runs, or orange peel, and thickness gauge measurement before packaging.
Nine specialist finishes — all available in-house or through our audited partner network. We advise on the best option for your part's material, environment, and cosmetic requirements.
We support the full RAL Classic and RAL Design System range — over 1,000 standard colours — and can custom-blend to Pantone or customer-supplied samples. Gloss level is adjustable from 5% flat matte to 95% high gloss.

Send us your parts and colour requirements. We'll recommend the best coating process, provide a RAL or Pantone match swatch, and confirm DFM compatibility before production.
